Established in October 1995, Chongqing Cummins Engine Co., Ltd. mainly produces Cummins N, K, and M series diesel engines, generator sets, and other power units.
Chongqing Cummins Factory is the largest heavy-loading and high-power engine manufacturing factory of Cummins in China, representing the launching of localized production of Cummins in China.
Chongqing Cummins invested and constructed a high-power engine technology center and new factory project in the northern new area of Chongqing, and invited Fablog Logistics Consulting (Beijing) Co., Ltd. to provide on-site technical support for the overall intelligent production logistics planning and implementation process.
In accordance with the demands of the production and logistics departments of the new factory of Cummins, Fablog adopts the concepts and principles of lean logistics and intelligent logistics, and implements a benchmarking material management system and business processes. Meanwhile, Fablog provides the complete data analysis, conceptual planning, and detailed design, as well as the implementation of the project and on-site support, so as to achieve the complete delivery of the logistics planning scheme.
Fablog project team conducted detailed planning for the online mode of each component, defined a detailed material flow, specified the functional requirements of the WMS system, and designed the operation process in detail. Not only that, Fablog solidified the entire logistics operation link designed into the IT system to guide the logistics operation systematically, so as to realize the standardized and intelligentized efficient operation of the production line-side logistics and online warehouse of the new factory, and meet the requirement of future production and manufacturing.
