As the only enterprise of Cummins in China that produces high-power engines, Chongqing Cummins Engine Co., Ltd. (CCEC) entrusted Fablog to provide comprehensive integrated production logistics planning for its Chongqing factory, supporting it become a world-class, globally oriented high-power engine research and development center and manufacturing base.

CCEC was established in October 1995, with more than 1,400 employees, which is formerly known as Chongqing Automobile Engine Factory, and has been engaged in the design and manufacture of diesel engines since the 1950s. CCEC is a joint venture established by Chongqing Electromechanical Group and Cummins with a ratio of 50:50 shares, which is also the earliest one among the six major engine enterprises established by Cummins in China. After 24 years of development, CCEC has grown into an excellent high-power power production base in China, whose products not only meet the needs of the domestic market, but also are widely exported to the global market.

CCEC high-power engine technology research and development center and high-power engine production base are located in Pingchang and Dayun Industrial Zone of the former north new area of Chongqing, covering an area of 266,360m2. The new production base was constructed in 2019, started trial production in early 2021, and completed all ramp-up stages at the end of the same year. The production and operation run smoothly now.

Fablog has conducted overall logistics planning for the new production base of CCEC, and actively practiced the concept and principle of lean logistics. The logistics planning involves more than 5,000 SKUs, 11 production lines, and more than 10,000 m2 of storage area. In accordance with logistics planning, Fablog has established a high standard logistics management system for CCEC from the beginning of its construction, and has achieved many improvements, including standardization of logistics system, rationalization of function layout, smoothness of logistics route, rationalization of online mode, the cycled time of process distribution, informatization of logistics management and specialization of the physical team.
