Liuzhou base is the construction project of FAW Jiefang with the first multi-locations, multi-departments, and multi-organizations. Following the requirements of “Meeting the Design Capacity Cycle Time and Full Mixed-flow Manufacturing Model”, and taking the “Integrated, Digital, and Intelligent Production Logistics” as the target, the project construction proposed high standards and strict requirements for the entire logistics planning. Under the project process of high standards, strict requirements, and fast cycle time, Fablog conducts high-quality and systematic logistics planning for Liuzhou Base.
In accordance with the principle of reverse planning and design of line side backup, Fablog extends upstream from the final station of the parts, and plans to output nine modules, including the parking lot scheme, warehouse layout scheme, automation scheme, logistics route, and transportation scheme, production line supply mode and replenishment organization, PFEP scheme, LES system interface scheme, standard operation process, logistics personnel, and equipment calculation.
Establishing a standardized packaging system; in accordance with the parts’ parameters, Fablog introduced the international tools size standards, established the standardization system of KLT, GLT, and SLT tools, and realized the recycling application of packaging between the external warehouse and the internal buffer warehouse and between the production lines.
Improving informatization; the logistics process LES is integrated with the production process MOM and the company ERP to achieve a 100% synchronization rate of logistics process informatization.
Improving automation; there are 56 AGV transportation equipment and 4 automated stereoscopic warehouses inputted in storage, selecting, and distribution, effectively improving the level of logistics automation.
Optimizing cost; through improving the standardization, informatization, and automation level of the logistics process, the operation cost can be saved by 13.5% annually.
