Since 2009, in order to promote the independent innovation, to master the core technology of powertrain of independent brand passenger vehicles, Baic Industry Holding Company officially formed the powertrain branch. The company bought Saab's 2.0L Series, 2.3L series, a total of eight engines, among which four main models are 2.0t, 2.0T, 2.3t, 2.3T, and two gearbox products--F25 and F35.
This project is Beijing auto high-end base project matching engine project which is located in tongzhou west town development zone with a total land area of 1,559 mu. The base consists of research and development center, engine factory and gearbox factory. By 2015, the annual output of 400,000 sets of advanced machinery, 300000 sets of CVT transmission, production capacity of 300,000 MT gearbox will be reached.
