Commissioned by Zhongshi Logistics company, Fablog took up the optimization work on production logistics of Chery automobile Third General Factory located in Wuhu. The specific work includes: PC area optimization, logistics optimization, staff positions and equipment configuration optimization, IT systems process optimization.

Through the onsite research on Chery Third General Factory and the analysis of the provided capacity data, inventory data, Fablog concreted from the following aspects to improve the working: entering warehouse strategy optimization, storage strategy optimization, sorting strategy optimization, internal transport routes optimization, actual area demand and layout optimization of the PC area, unloading crossing functional layout, and the IT process optimization corresponded to operation.

Fablog analyzed and adjusted Third General Factory's Line M, Line S' materials online mode, making sure Kanban materials not entering the PC area, choosing single materials, automatically caculating the assembly line demanded packing quantities through system, implementing line feeding according to the demand, reducing inventories of PC Zone; recalculating the area demand according to its corresponding logistics capacity in PC and unloading zone, and adjusting the functional layout and shelves stocked direction according to the transport routes' adjustment; analyzing the materials' packing data, implementing standard packing method on the material and reducing the double packing operations in PC zone; optimizing the function of IT system, increasing a function-the ERP and LES system automatically can calculate economic batch demand according to packing capacity, directing the supplier's balanced distribution.

Through the above adjustment, Fablog optimized the operation area of PC zone and operating staff, reducing the material storage and inventory differences existed in PC zone.
