Entrusted by Qingdao FAW Jiefang Chengdu Branch, Fablog conducted research and analysis on the operation status of its logistics warehouse and logistics center with an area of 15,000 square meters and 16,000 square meters respectively. According to the analysis results, Fablog scientifically optimized the logistics center operation, which made the logistics center to be more standardized and at the same time improved the storage space utilization rate of the logistics center, the efficiency of employee operations, and the accuracy of logistics operations.
In order to implement the project requirements of FAW Jiefang Logistics, Fablog provided a set of implementable solutions which were based on on-site investigation, data collection, data analysis, particularity of its actual logistics operation, the lean logistics system as well as advanced and scientific planning tools.
The specific content of the optimization include:
“Line side parts missing rate” is greatly reduced;
The backlog of materials has been gradually cleaned up (it takes a certain time to complete);
The information system function development team has a clear understanding of the actual logistics scenarios, as well as system requirements, etc.
