On November 26, 2021, the State Administration for Market Regulation and Standardization Administration of the P.R.C. issued the “Announcement of Chinese National Standards No. 14, 2021”, and approved the release of the recommended national standards, including the “Grades for General Warehouse” (GB/T21072-2021), “Planning and Design Parameter of General Warehouse and Warehouse Area” (GB/T28581-2011) that proposed and managed by the National Technical Committee for Logistics Standardization and prepared with the participated company Fablog, which will be officially implemented since June 1, 2022.

As the first drafting unit, Fablog once participated in formulating the industry standard “Service Standards for the Construction and Operation of Commerce and Trade Logistics Parks” (SB/T11198-2017, issued by the Ministry of Commerce on August 21, 2017), which is the industry standard for evaluating the construction and operation of commerce and trade logistics parks and the quality of services.

In addition, Fablog has participated in formulating national and industrial standards many times, representing that the professional capability of the company has been highly recognized by the relevant national ministries and commissions, and is deemed as the benchmark company in domestic logistics consulting and planning.

“Planning and Design Parameter of General Warehouse and Warehouse Area” (GB/T28581-2011)

Revised Standard No.: GB/T28581-2012

Scope: The standard specifies the relevant requirements for the planning and design of general warehouse and warehouse area, including layout planning, warehouse design, relevant facilities and equipment, warehouse signs and markings, information planning and design, and green warehouse construction, which is applicable to the layout planning and warehouse design of general warehouse and warehouse area for new construction, reconstruction or expansion, and is inapplicable to hazardous chemical warehouses and its warehouse area.

Revision summaries: Added and improved the definition of core terms; added relevant requirements for the parking lot, supporting facilities, and office area (living area) in the layout of the warehouse area; added the requirements for structural form, fire compartment, tailboard slot, and elevator in warehouse design; added requirements for facilities and equipment, including lighting, temperature, humidity, and air conditioning in the warehouse and warehouse area; added the requirements for the signs and markings of warehouse area and information; detailed the specific requirements of each part, and simplified the requirements and expressions of the original standard.

“Grades for General Warehouse” (GB/T21072-2021)

Revised Standard No.: GB/T21072-2007

Scope: The standard specifies the classification conditions and facility requirements of the general warehouse, which is applicable to the general warehouse and its auxiliary facilities.

Revision summaries: Added requirements for automation, intelligence, and green environmental protection of facilities at the high-level warehouse level; strengthened the requirements for safety management and information level; improved the overall requirements for the level of warehouses at all levels; optimized the overall structure and expression of the standard.
