Handan is located in the central logistics area of China, connecting east to west and connecting north and south. Beijing-Guangzhou, Hanhuang, Handan-Chang, and Handan-Jihan railways intersect here; Beijing-Hong Kong-Macau, Qinglan, Daguang, National Highway 107, and National Highway 309 cross each other vertically; relying on Handan International Airport-which constitutes Handan Highway, Railway and Aviation Traffic Network. In 2015, Handan International land port opened for operation. It is the first modern logistics center station in China that integrates sea-rail transportation, public-rail transportation, and airport integration.

Handan International Land Port covers a total area of 6,000 acres. According to the layout of "One Port and Three Districts", the East Land Port New City and the West Logistics Core Area are each 2,500 acres, and the Lingang Processing Reserve Area is 1,000 acres.

Handan International Land Port is based on eight functional zones, through the opening of five major channels, and the development of 17 businesses to bridge the world and Handan-the core area of logistics will focus on the construction of bonded logistics areas, storage areas, railway station areas, storage yard areas, Eight functional zones of logistics processing zone, freight parking zone, supporting engineering zone, and comprehensive supporting zone. The five channels of spot market channels, import and export business channels, logistics channels between ports, cross-regional trade channels, distribution and integrated service channels were opened.
