Authorized by the south China sea branch of foton automobile, Fablog conducted logistics capability verification on component suppliers for the optimization of south China sea logistics supply chain. The branch company conducted field research and system document review on each 5 component suppliers from its Sapp factory and passenger car factory.
Fablog conducted field research on each of the 10 suppliers selected for its actual logistics capability and audited its system files. Besides, Fablog also set different score respectively for each supplier's logistics capability from a few aspects like internal logistics, transportation management and information transmission etc.-the sum of scores of different modules reflect the overall logistics capability. As for the whole capability, Fablog set four levels-A, AB, B and C etc. Then, specific improvement scheme is put forward according to the level evaluated of each supplier and phase of improvements be conducted according to the short, medium and long term goals proposed so as to meet Foton company's needs on suppliers' logistics capability. In this project, we also focused on the supplier ability of JIT, -the JIT ability is investigated by setting the content of different aspects such as transportation distance, supply mode etc.(the sum of all aspects of the score reflects the overall JIT capacity of the supplier), to measure supplier's satisfaction degree for Foton company's logistics capability both now and in the future.
