For the company Ihle Baden-Baden AG a WMS-system with connected RF-system on basis of IBM-AS/400 was realized for the central warehouse in Muggensturm. The existing merchandise management system Profil/400 was integrated via defined interfaces.

The warehouse contains a rack area, two picking areas and up to three supply levels. Currently 30 rack aisles with different shelf and pallet types are installed. Furthermore in a block warehouse for GOODYEAR-pallets the removal tasks of the industry is buffered and if needed transformed to picking pallets. Rim-accessory is stored in variable pick-box-places and various accessory is stored in shelf bottom racks. Small quantities are stored in variable exotic racks.

Four vertical aisles and one variable horizontal GOODYEAR-aisle are integrated in the warehouse for the A-articles. Surrounding these aisle the not-A-articles are placed zone-related so that transport ways can be optimized for outbounds.

Single-administration is granted for tire/rim/accessory via unique numbers from notice up to package of the goods.

Customers orders are picked single levelled in the whole warehouse under various restrictions (maximum number of picking aisles, customer relation, shipment relation). The shipment for the package duty is processed directly out of the picking picking box with attachment of the according package labels. After packaging the finished packets go to a packet assorting machinery. Over this machinery the packets are precisely directed to the specific gate.

Currently the decentral shipment warehouses Madrid, Lyon and Bratislava are integrated in the system.
