Since 1993 Krystaltech is a special distributor for internal PC brand-components and one of the leading distributors in Europe with a turnover of more than half a billion. Krystaltech is business unit and service brand for Krystaltech Lynx Europe.
The task
In the course of new plant construction of the KLE company the production supply should be optimized to adopt the growing production as well as the internal processes from inbound over picking to outbound of merchandises. Therefore a warehouse management system with integrated RF control system should be put into operation.
The solution
Fablog GmbH performed the IT fine planning in cooperation with the customer KLE. For the realization of the warehouse management system the core of the Fablog-warehouse-management LOGIS including forklift control system was used.
The warehouse consists of the following storage types:
Block storage,
Pallet storage,
Shelf storage,
Shuttle system from company Kardex
In total 29 storage areas are managed.

Serial and parallel picking
Way- and weight optimized picking
RMA-parts
Order changes are still possible after finishing the picking. In these cases the not needed parts are restored using the system and new parts are picked.
