In order to promote industry transformation and upgrading and adjust the economic structure， government of Shizuishan Huinong district want to develop the Ningxia land port economic zone combining industry, logistics, living and commerce. Fablog was invited to plan this project and the planning work includes market researches, market demand analysis, industry and logistics orientation, traffic organization, organization structure, development model, profit model, work content of initial stage, social benefit.
The area of Ningxia land port economic zone is 350 sq.km. The key problem of the planning is how to make the good combination of new facilities and existing facilities and how to providing logistics services to the industrial enterprises and how to take advantage of the land port. The planning itself is not difficult and the implementation of the planning is more difficult, especial for the logistics park of so large scales. So the planning must be instructive and have operability, and learn the successful experience of similar project of the other countries. The planning could tell the government the main task in the short-term, mid-term and long-term.
